What is a vision for life?
We see it as a cohesive and clear view of your life that aligns with your value system and human needs, and that you have capacity to live out.
This is the kind of work we do at *Human – desiring for everyone to have a cohesive vision for life.
When it comes to understanding what it means to have a vision for life, and understanding the features of a sound way of seeing the world, it’s helpful to start with the large end of the funnel—the biggest thing—to identify the truest way to articulate the depth and specificity of a vision for life.
As you navigate your journey, we are presenting the following ideas that we have found to be the most complete, fulfilling reflections and answers we’ve been able to find.
The following ideas cover every area of life: work and relationships, identity and self-worth, motivations and success, ambition and fears, struggles and illnesses, etc.
These can be used as a rubric or back-board for your life as you evaluate your worldview. You might consider reading through them and asking yourself how you think, feel, and value these things in your life. What resonates? How are they embodied and lived out in your life? Are there areas where you are not living these out but you do value them? How can you bridge that gap?
